Terrell Owens was hospitalized in L.A.
NFL star Terrell Owens was hospitalized in L.A. last week -- after someone called 911 to report a medical emergency at an apartment where the football player had been staying ... TMZ has learned.
An ambulance was sent to the apartment at 11:02 PM Thursday night -- and police arrived soon after.
Officials are not disclosing the nature of the emergency -- or explaining why cops were called to the scene.
We're told T.O. had already been rushed away by ambulance by the time cops arrived to the apartment, so they followed up with the football star at the hospital.
He has since been released from the hospital.
We placed calls to T.O.'s reps for comment -- so far, no response.

Mike Vick 100M Deal!!
ESPN is reporting that the Philadelphia Eagles and Michael Vick have agreed to a six-year $100 million dollar deal with around $40 million in guaranteed money.
This deal isn't really relevant to the CJ negotiations because Vick is a quarterback and quarterback get more money that other players. That's just the way it is.!

Randy Moss RETIRED!!!
Randy Moss RETIRED!!! No long farewell speech, No tearful goodbye, no hand written letter not even a DRY wave from a record-setting performer who changed the way defense is played in the NFL. Just a one-sentence statement from his agent saying one of the most colorful careers in league history was over. Then again Randy Moss has never been one to conform to conventions. ''In a lot of ways, he was the Michael Jordan of offenses in our league,'' Vikings 'He was a special player for a long, long time.'' said Leslie Frazier. In fact Vikings tight end Jim Kleinsasser said ''The things I've seen him do, I don't think I'll ever see another player do the things he did,'' ''Great career. Tough to see him not playing because I think he had a lot left out there that he could have done for somebody.''
While many gripe with what Moss' legacy will be, there is no denying the impact he had on the game. The Cover 2 defense has become a fashionable scheme over the past 10 years, and it was designed in large part to prevent Moss from burning opposing defensive backs for long TDs. The Jets were believed to have some interest in Moss, but Segal declined to elaborate on the options that were available. Whether the 34-year-old Moss is truly done is anyone's guess. That, of course, appears to be completely up to him.

More Cuts For Dallas Cowboys
Another day, another three cuts from the 2011 Dallas Cowboys roster. This time it's a few lesser known players, with Robert Brewster, Kelvin Smith and Travis Bright all being informed that they will be released by the Cowboys - at least according to Todd Archer.
Brester, Smith and Bright join Roy Williams, Marion Barber and Leonard Davis as players that have been cut by the Cowboys this week.
Brewster was drafted in the third round of the 2009 draft by Dallas, 75th overall. Brewster missed his entire rookie year thanks to a torn pectoral muscle and seemingly never recovered as he made no impact with Dallas in his sophomore season. Now in 2011, the Ball State product has been informed that he'll be released by the Cowboys.
As Archer points out, Kelvin Smith and Travis Bright were signed to futures contracts, but both will be released this week by the Cowboys.

Tiger Woods Fire Long-Time Caddy!
The changes keep coming for golfer Tiger Woods. Over the last 18-months he has parted ways with his wife, marketing agency (IMG), several sponsors (AT&T, Accenture, Gillette and PepsiCo) and swing coach (Hank Haney). The latest change will be a new caddy as Woods posted a note on his website announcing that he no longer would be working with Steve Williams.
"I want to express my deepest gratitude to Stevie for all his help, but I think it's time for a change," Woods posted on his website. "Stevie is an outstanding caddie and a friend and has been instrumental in many of my accomplishments. I wish him great success in the future."
Golfers change caddies all the time especially when thing are not going well and things have definitely not gone well for Woods on the course since his November 2009 car crash. His winless streak is at 22 months and counting. The move caught Williams by surprise though, "Needless to say this came as a shock," Williams said. "Given the circumstances of the past 18 months working through Tiger's scandal, a new coach and with it a major swing change and Tiger battling through injuries, I am very disappointed to end our very successful partnership at this time."
Don't cry for Williams though. The 12-year pairing with Woods has been very lucrative to the man known as Stevie. He topped our 2007 look at the top-earning caddies. Williams also snagged his own sponsorship deal with Valvoline to wear its logo on his shirt sleeve during golf tournaments. Woods gave Williams the $140,000 Ford GT he received for winning at Doral in 2005. These are the kind of perks that few caddies see.
Could Williams spill Tiger's secrets? Don't count on it. Williams wants to keep working in golf and selling out the player you loop for is a sure way to get blackballed from the sport. Williams already announced that he will be caddying full-time for Australian Adam Scott. Might be a step up as Scott is currently ranked No. 17 in the world, while Woods is down to No. 20 and likely to drop further as he stays off the course with injuries.
